The Venables Train

Due to the loss of Don "Angus" Lowry, a new team has emerged calling themselves the Venables Train. They claim they're going to run over the competition at this years summit. Not since the emergence of the Young Guns in 2003 have we seen a team this fired up and running on all cylinders...

Could this be the team that finally takes down the Young Guns?

I DON'T THINK SO!

Complete Update

Many things happened at the final G-8 Breakfast on Saturday morning. The group got some beautiful new jackets complements of the Alberta Beef Commission.

Next some people confessed of some new equipment in the bags, and for some like Buttercup, he even has a new bag. Here is an equipment update:
Bruce "Buttercup" Coley:

Nike Ignite Irons

Ben Hogan Woods
Al "Mustard Man" Petersen:

Taylormade R7 Irons
Bob "Big Dawg" Gallimore:

Re-griped his clubs
Brian "Walrus" Gallimore

Nike Slingshot Hybrid
Steve "Flying Squirrel" Russell:

Mizuno Driver and Fairway Woods
The biggest question heading into this years Summit is will the equipment make a difference? We all know the answer is NOT A CHANCE!
The final topic was Don "Angus" Lowry's health. He has pulled some muscles in his forearm and it looks doubtful that he will be making the trip to Kelowna. Don will be missed greatly, especially by his partner Brian "Chuck" Venables. With Don out of commission the hunt is on for a replacement for Team ABC. Don, we hope you get better soon and Brian, we hope your replacement will play well, he will have alot to live up to!

Update

Saturday was a good day for the Young Guns. We basically clinched the G-8 Summit by making some key acquisitions to improve our game. We will be long and straight off the tee and our greens in regulation percentage will be 100%. This is just fair warning that the Young Guns want to make sure no other name ends up on "their" trophy.
Acquisitions:

Brian " Walrus" Gallimore

Taylormade R7 460 Driver
Dwight "Shark" Anthony

Nikent Hybrid
Another update: Steve "Flying Squirrel" Russell bought a beautiful new Nike Wedge that will improve his game immensely.

I vote that his handicap should come down due to the new acquisition. All other handicaps to remain as-is.
